Introduction

This project presents a UX design proposal for Bergen Brews, a local specialty coffee
shop in Bergen. The goal was to design a responsive and interactive website prototypethat improves how customers discover, book, and engage with Bergen Brews’ offerings —
especially masterclasses and café events.

Bergen Brews is a local specialty coffee shop that prides itself on high-quality beans, barista masterclasses, and a welcoming café environment. Their current digital presence is limited to a static page with little information and no interactivity. Customers often call or visit in person to ask about events, bookings, or menu items, which creates friction.

The lack of an engaging, mobile-friendly website limits Bergen Brews’ ability to attract new visitors, handle event bookings, and sell branded merchandise online. A redesigned website and prototype will provide customers with easier access to information and services while strengthening the café’s brand identity.

Deliver an interactive Web site (minimum 4 pages, responsive for desktop & mobile)

Improve task success rates in usability testing (goal: 80% for     booking a class or finding opening hours).

Document the design process in a UX report (research, wireframes, testing).

Record a 3-minute video presentation simulating a client pitch.
